What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a safe and relaxing way of focusing your attention and creating a bridge to and from your conscious mind (The programmer) to your subconscious mind (The programming) for effective change through suggestion. Hypnosis bypasses the critical part of our natural being that wants to reject any change we may want to make in our life good or bad Creating space to override old programming. For example a person wanting to stop smoking but something in them is causing resistance to change. Hypnosis relaxes that resistance which allows your subconscious mind to accept the change.
Self-Hypnosis allows an individual to program their subconscious mind with one of more suggestions that will help bring about a habit change much more easily than if working with just the conscious mind. When using hypnosis you will not be asleep but in an altered state of consciousness whereby you will be aware of what is happening around you. But you will have your concentration focused on one specific thing.
